CCOM bugFounded in Chicago in May 1990, Cottle Communications, Inc. (CCOM) is enjoying its 3rd decade as a leading visual communications firm. In 1997, CCOM opened additional facilities in Florida to better serve those clients based in the Southeast.

Today, the award-winning digital media production company provides communication solutions integrating video, photography,  interactive media, social media, and printed media for local and regional to Fortune 500 clients nationwide.

Owner/Partners Deb and Stan Cottle, are guiding CCOM forward into the information marketing era.

Deb Cottle, a principal of CCOM with husband Stan, moved their growing family from Chicago to Amelia Island, Florida in 1997. They have continued to provide a high level of service to their national clients as well as local clients in Northeast Florida.

In Chicago, Deb was one of the top ranking female executives in the video and film production industry. As Vice-President/General Manager of Independent Programming Associates (specializing in documentaries, feature films, television series, commercials and corporate programs) Deb had responsibilities in facility management, human resources, and new business development.

From 1990 to 1993, Deb held the senior management position of Director of Sales for Optimus, a multi- million dollar Anheuser-Busch subsidiary responsible for television post-production services for Anheuser-Busch brands through marketing and advertising agencies nationwide, while servicing other major agency clients, production companies and corporations.

Deb began her career in the television production industry in 1985 as account executive for Telemation, a television production company with offices in Chicago, Denver, Phoenix and New York. She quickly moved into a newly created Sales Director position overseeing national sales.

In addition to her marketing and advertising background, Deb has been a leader in her community both in Chicago and Florida. Women’s Advertising Club of Chicago (Past-President), Women in Film, YMCA of Florida’s First Coast (Past Board Member), AIFBY Chamber of Commerce (Past Board Member), Take Stock in Children (Mentored two teenage girls, and Leadership Council Director), Leadership Nassau (Inaugural class), Rotary Club of Amelia Island Sunrise (Past-President),  Rotary Club of Greater Nassau County (Membership Chair), and Micah’s Place Domestic Violence Shelter (Board Secretary).

Deb is a professional speaker represented by Elite Speakers International. As a transition specialist, she also offers coaching, webinars, and live workshop events through www.debcottle.com. Deb created an inspirational CD, Music & Motivation featuring singer/songwriter Rubyanna, and produced a documentary film, Women With GUTS!, about four women who had the GUTS to successfully move through obstacles in their lives. The film, which premiered at the Rendezvous Film Festival, features Denise Brown, domestic violence prevention advocate and sister of Nicole Brown Simpson.

Stan Cottle, President and Creative Director of CCOM, works with clients nationwide on overall marketing strategy to include the creation and production of digital communications content across various media channels. The resulting campaigns have served the business-to-business sector as well as business-to-consumer.

Stan has developed a highly collaborative management style through 30 years of directing complex communications projects utilizing internal (client-side) and external work forces.

Stan understands the importance of delivering results from marketing and communications efforts. He has helped a wide variety of businesses communicate core values to strengthen brand position while increasing market share and profitability.

As a strong collaborator, Stan is a valuable asset in helping create, plan and achieve strategic goals. His work has included projects for national clients such as AT&T, Anheuser-Busch, Carrier, Coca-Cola, Ford Motor Company, Humana, Kraft Foods, and Nestle, among many others.

In addition to marketing communications, Stan’s educational projects are narrative dramatic programs, which are widely distributed throughout school and institutional markets. Sponsored by entities such as the American Academy of Pediatrics, National Institutes of Health, Ameritech, Rotary International, Jacksonville Jaguars Foundation and Chicago’s Museum of Science & Industry, these programs feature a captivating convergent of proven audience-building techniques that dynamically shape each concept into a sharply focused, yet entertaining, message.

A natural outcome of Stan’s role as videographer/photographer/drone pilot on marketing communications projects is a new path in art photography. With a focus on landscape and architectural photography, Stan occasionally explores other genres.
